not gonna really bother with the whole "I'm back routine" I've done enough times on this site, you should have the gist of it by now. (b´∀｀)

hey guys,
as some of you've probably noticed I've been neglecting my dA a lot. or in some new followers cases (hi!), probably think my accounts inactive, lol.
I just don't feel like this sites really helping my development as an artist anymore, I mean, now I pretty much use it as place to dump what few good pictures I draw along with the occasional 3D piece.
everytime I look at the front page of this place it's nothing but fandom-y stuff I have no interest in (and in many cases, doesn't seem to be on the front page for it's artistic or visual merit to say the least) , ponies/anthro/wolf OC #8648765487, erotica and things I don't even classify as art (as subjective as the term is). but I guess that's due to the whole popularity contest nature of this site.
when I visit sites like CGHUB it's just BAM! instant inspiration to improve and challenge yourself! (and maybe doubt yourself, and get a little depressed by how awesome people are).
I remember when this site used to begood better, I guess this place just doesn't really feel suited to me any more (well at the moment at least).
it's twenty to 5, I'm in insomnia-mode and have a 9-5 of classes at uni today.
